Jeff Bagalis is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). Jeff is a manager at Crawford & Winiarski Financial Consulting and has expertise in financial reporting, accounting, internal audit, and section 404 Sarbanes Oxley. Jeff has worked with a variety of Tier I automotive companies in various roles including US GAAP financial reporting & consolidations, international financial reporting, internal audit functions, and controllerships.

Jeff has industry experience in manufacturing, automotive, biotechnology, software and energy. Jeff has been involved in a wide range of Corporate Consulting, Executive Analysis and Internal Audit assignments. In connection with these positions, Jeff has experience in providing guidance on key financial controls, leading section 404 Sarbanes Oxley reviews by assessing manufacturing location’s design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. In addition, Jeff has expertise in several corporate functions including Treasury, Purchasing, and Corporate accounting including such activities as ERP implementation, risk management, capital markets, and foreign currency.

Jeff has been involved in several areas of litigation consulting services. Jeff has expertise in the quantification of economic damages in matters ranging from professional malpractice, financial reporting fraud, automotive industry OEM and supplier claims, business interruption claims and post acquisition disputes. In connection with these services, he regularly performs fact finding and discovery assistance, lost profit calculations, business valuations, lost earnings and wages computations, and other financial analyses.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Michigan - Dearborn, School of Business Administration. Following graduation, Jeff was employed in the audit practice of an international accounting and consulting firm before continuing into the private sector in a financial reporting and consolidations role.
